How to Book: Pick your adventure, date, and time on our website or app, then share details like your name and payment info to lock it in.
Paying Up: Tours require full payment upfront, handled securely via Stripe. In rare cases, we may accept on-site payments through a backup terminal (no cash accepted).
Payment Hiccups: If you can’t pay on-site, your non-refundable deposit stays with us but can be applied to a future tour date, possibly with an extra fee.
Confirmation: Expect an email to seal the deal. Double-check your contact info to avoid mix-ups.
2. Changing Plans
Your Cancellation:
Cancel within 48 hours of your tour, and we’ll refund everything except the non-refundable deposit.
Cancel more than 48 hours out, and you’ll get a full refund plus half your deposit back.
Our Call to Cancel: If weather, safety, or low turnout forces us to pause a tour, you’ll get a full refund or a chance to reschedule.
No-Shows: Miss your tour without notice? Your payment, including the deposit, stays with us, but the deposit can shift to another date (extra fees may apply).
3. Joining the Adventure
Who’s Welcome: All ages can join unless we say otherwise. Follow our staff’s lead to keep things smooth and safe.
Keeping It Respectful: Stick to legal, safe behavior. If our staff deems actions disruptive or risky, they can end your tour without a refund—no exceptions, whether you’re the main guest or a tag-along.
Your Health: Let us know about medical conditions before the tour. You’re responsible for being fit enough to join the fun.
4. Staying Safe and Covered
Waiver Agreement: Booking means you’ll sign a waiver acknowledging risks like slips on the Dequindre Cut or waves on the Sunset Cruise. You join at your own risk.
Our Limits: Dtours isn’t liable for injuries, losses, or damages unless we’ve been grossly negligent. Weather disruptions? We’re not on the hook.
Staff Authority: Our team can halt a tour if they spot danger or interference, at their sole discretion, with no refund.
Your Belongings: Lost a phone on the Riverwalk? We’re not responsible for personal items.
5. Our Creative Spark
Our Content: The photos, descriptions, and vibes on our website, app, and tours belong to Dtours LLC. Don’t copy or share without our nod.
Your Contributions: Snap a great shot or drop a review? By sharing with us, you let us use it to hype up Dtours’ adventures.
6. Partners in the Journey
We work with services like Stripe for payments. Their rules apply when you use them. Check our Privacy Policy (dtours.co/privacy) for how we handle your info.
7. Ending the Ride
We can cancel bookings or remove participants for breaking these rules, unsafe actions, or at our staff’s call, with no refunds.
8. Michigan’s Rules Apply
These terms fall under Michigan law. Any disputes will be settled in Detroit’s courts, guided by legal and Dtours’ safety standards.
